New Hollywood with Allie
What’s going on good people! I wanna talk to you all about a session I did with the amazing actress and model Allie Harris. Check her out on Instagram here @alliexperience_ .
Allie and I had been discussing doing a session together for a couple of years but the stars just wouldn’t line up. Either I would be booked or she would be booked and filming. It happens like that sometimes you know. Luckily she never gave up on the idea and this time when I reached out to her with some inspiration images she was down for a session but this time we were both determined to make it happen.
After discussing a few looks and agreeing to leave room for our creative instincts we got in the studio and started to make magic.
Below you will find some images from one of the looks that feel very vintage black Hollywood to me and I’m hoping that you agree. this is why I’m leaving room for your instincts is so important; for this look, neither of us was sure what we were going to shoot. Honestly, all that I remember is during our creative consultation Allie said to me that she was going to “bring something with some fur.” And of course, I was like, “bet!” When I finally saw the look in person I would have sworn that I was transported back to the 50s and I immediately locked my mind in that mode.
